MOORING STAY
White First Come First Serve Mooring Balls are now closed – please refer to BoatyBall.com for moorings and payments for the orange balls.
Manchioneel Bay features on many sailing itineraries as a natural stop along the Sister Island chain leading to The Baths at Virgin Gorda. Moor-SeaCure Limited maintain 40 mooring balls in the bay; suitable for vessels up to 60ft in length and 20 net tons. The 17 white mooring balls are available on a first-come basis and tend to be full by 12 noon. The 20 orange balls at the southern end of the bay can be reserved from 7am on the day via BoatyBall.com app.
With BoatyBall membership you can pre-reserve balls at various locations in the BVI including Cooper Island Beach Club, Leverick Bay Resort, Anegada Reef Hotel, Cane Garden Bay, and Great Harbour JVD.
Manchioneel Bay is one of the Department of Conservation & Fisheries’ Sea Grass monitoring sites and its crucial to the health of the marine environment. Anchoring within the mooring field is strictly prohibited.
Cooper Island by Charter Boat
Arriving at Cooper Island by private vessel is a truly special experience. Whether you sailing through the BVI or arriving via center console, our mooring field offers a peaceful, scenic welcome. Upon arrival we have two docks with limited space for dingy and center console only. We recommend arriving early especially during peak season to secure your spot.
Once ashore, guests are invited to enjoy the public side of the resort, including:

VISITOR GUIDELINES
To help protect our environment and ensure smooth daily operations:
– No anchoring is permitted within the mooring field. If you need to anchor, please do so outside the field or in nearby Haulover Bay.
-Trash disposal is not available on the island. Please plan to manage waste onboard.
– There are no hiking trails or guided hikes on Cooper Island – Most of Cooper Island is privately owned.
– Do not lock dinghies to the dock, they may need to be moved for resort operations & emergencies.
